What the team byline means
A TapClaim Editorial Team byline means the page is owned by our editorial and data workflow. It does not mean that a lawyer, court, settlement administrator, or named outside expert reviewed or endorsed the page.
Settlement administrators and courts remain the final authority for eligibility, deadlines, filing requirements, and payments.
Responsibilities
- Identify and classify the underlying legal matter.
- Prefer court, regulator, administrator, and official notice sources.
- Separate open settlement claim forms from lawsuits, investigations, and law-firm intake forms.
- Record when the listing was checked and update material changes.
- Review correction reports and publish material correction notes.
Named contributors
TapClaim currently uses an organizational byline and does not publish individual editor or reviewer identities on the website. We will not create placeholder names or imply credentials that have not been verified.
The contributor-profile system is ready for verified people. Each future profile must disclose the person's role, relevant experience or credentials, review areas, and conflicts before it can be linked from an article.
