A lawsuit alleges that FitOn, Inc. violated the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by sharing subscribers' personally identifiable information, including details about which videos they requested or watched, with third parties without consent. FitOn denies any wrongdoing, but both sides agreed to a $2.5 million settlement to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation. The settlement has not yet received final court approval; a Final Approval Hearing is set for October 6, 2026, and payments will go out only after the Court approves the deal and any appeals are resolved. Eligible subscribers who watched videos between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026 may qualify for a $10 payment.
