Apple Siri AI Class Action Settlement: Up to $95 for iPhone Buyers

Apple Inc. has agreed to a $250 million settlement resolving a class action lawsuit claiming that buyers of certain iPhones expected specific Siri Apple Intelligence features that never materialized on their devices. The iPhones covered include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple denies any wrongdoing and disputes the allegations entirely; agreeing to settle does not mean the company admits fault. Both sides chose to resolve the case rather than face the expense and uncertainty of a trial.

The court gave preliminary approval on July 17, 2026, and claims began being accepted on September 21, 2026. A Final Approval Hearing is set for February 24, 2027, at which point the court will decide whether to finalize the deal. No payments will go out unless the settlement receives final approval and any appeals are resolved.

Eligibility generally requires that you personally bought one of the covered iPhone models, as the original purchaser, not for resale, between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025, and that you expected a Siri Apple Intelligence feature you didn't actually receive. Anyone who bought more than one qualifying device can file a separate claim for each one, and payment requires submitting a valid Claim Form before the deadline.

No receipts or proof of purchase are required. Instead, the Claim Form asks for updated contact details and confirmation of your purchase and your expectation of the Siri feature. You'll also need to supply identifying information for your device, such as the iPhone's serial number, or, lacking that, the email or phone number tied to the Apple Account linked to it. The form must be signed, dated, and certified as accurate. All claims may be reviewed, audited, or validated, and the settlement administrator can reject any that are incomplete, duplicated, or fraudulent.

To find out if you're part of the class, check for a notice sent by mail or email containing a Claim ID and PIN. If you can't locate one, the settlement website has a "Find Your Claim ID and PIN" tool, and claims can also be filed online without that information.
