According to the suit, anyone who logged into a Banner Health Patient Account (formerly the MyBanner patient portal) between June 1, 2020 and November 22, 2023 may have had their privacy invaded this way.
Banner Health denies any wrongdoing, and no court has ruled on the claims. Still, both sides chose to settle rather than continue litigating, and the Court has given the deal preliminary approval. A final approval hearing is set for September 10, 2026.
Eligible patients can claim a $20 cash payment simply by submitting a Claim Form, no supporting documents needed, just a completed and signed form. You'll need your Class Member ID to file, which was sent to you by email or mail in the settlement notice.
