Chick-fil-A One Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Over June 2026 Breach

A Chick-fil-A One rewards member filed a proposed class action against Chick-fil-A, Inc. on July 23, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The complaint alleges Chick-fil-A failed to adequately safeguard members' personal and payment information, resulting in a data breach around June 17, 2026. Per the lawsuit, hackers used login credentials stolen from other, unrelated sources to access Chick-fil-A One accounts. The information potentially exposed includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, dates of birth, the last four digits of stored credit and debit cards, plus Chick-fil-A One membership numbers, account balances, and mobile pay numbers. The suit further alleges that although Chick-fil-A learned of the breach on July 13, 2026, it waited until July 20, 2026, to alert members. This case is still just a lawsuit, no settlement has been reached and no claims process exists yet, so there's currently no proof requirement, claim form, or claimant ID to submit.
