SpotHero Settlement for California Map View Bookings: Claims Closed

A class action alleges SpotHero violated California law by concealing the complete cost of parking reservations, specifically its service fee, until customers were nearly finished checking out. SpotHero denies any wrongdoing and maintains its practices were lawful. No court has ruled on the merits; instead, the parties chose to settle rather than face the expense and uncertainty of litigation.

Under the settlement, SpotHero will pay $975,000 in total benefits to Settlement Class members. Those who qualify and take no action will automatically receive a Credit Voucher deposited into their SpotHero wallet. Anyone who prefers a cash payment instead must submit a Claim Form. Either way, the payout amount is identical, calculated based on the average service fees paid during the covered period.

No supporting documentation is required to file a claim, you simply certify under penalty of perjury that the information you provide is accurate. The settlement administrator reserves the right to request additional details later or verify claims against SpotHero's own records.

To find out whether you're eligible, check for a notice emailed to you by SpotHero containing a Notice ID and Confirmation Code. Those two identifiers let you log in to the claims website to proceed.
