There are two separate processes here. First, in August 2024, Bestway and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled these pumps, offering owners a replacement pump or a cash refund, that recall is handled directly by Bestway. Second, this lawsuit followed, arguing the recall didn't go far enough, and it provides additional compensation on top of whatever the recall already paid out.
Under the settlement, Bestway will extend the warranty by one year for anyone who received a replacement pump through the recall, and will pay up to $75.00 in cash to eligible claimants who file valid claims. The total settlement fund is capped at $2,000,000.00.

If you can't locate your Unique ID and PIN, or never received a notice, you can still file without logging in, or email the Settlement Administrator at info@SpaPumpClassActionSettlement.com with your full name and mailing address to request them.
